Etienne Lee “T.N.” English, age 69, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at his home in Portage, Indiana.

Etienne was born August 3, 1950 in Salinas, Monterrey County, California to Grace Ester (Bumgardner) and Rae Alton English, both deceased.

He leaves behind an older brother, William Walter “Bill” (Miriam [nee, DeMarco]) English of Nevada; a younger sister, Kae Arelyn “Kitten” (nee, English) (James Patrick) Griffith of Griffith, Indiana; the youngest member of the family and his brother, Dennis Dean English of Pensacola, Florida; his step-father, Carroll Osborn Ackley, age 93, with whom he had been living since shortly after the death of his mother, Grace.

Etienne has one daughter, Dawn Marie (nee, English) Bauer, born September 3, 1977 in Porter County Hospital, Valparaiso, Indiana, address unknown at this time, but may be located in the state of Florida. Anyone with information of her whereabouts, please contact Kae Griffith at KaeArelyn@gmail.com.

An avid fisherman and hunter, having participated in several camping expeditions into the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. Etienne was never far from a fishing hole. He also enjoyed kayaking and deer hunting with his father and older brother in earlier years.

Etienne has been a resident in three different states: California (Watsonville), Indiana (Portage), and Florida (Pensacola). He spent much of his working years as a carpenter and also enjoyed participating in the commercial fishing industry in the Gulf of Mexico.
