Obituary for Kennneth Bush

Kenneth Bush, 50, of La Porte, passed away peacefully at 6:44 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in his home after a 2 year battle with cancer.

He was born March 19, 1968 to Earl Bush and Nancylue (Davenport) Shown.
Kenneth was a DNR Range Officer. He was a lifetime trophy member and a member of the National Rifle Association. Kenneth enjoyed doing the Cowboy Shoot, hunting, fishing, woodworking, gardening and sharing his crops, watching western movies and teaching archery. He graduated gun smithing with honors and enjoyed teaching reloading and casting bullets.

On March 25, 1989, in Walkerton, IN, he married Roberta Ann (Cormican) Bush, who survives.

Also surviving are his father, Earl (Pam) Bush; his mother, Nancylue (Bruce) Shown; two children, JC Bush of La Porte, Ashley (David) Francis of Union Mills; two sisters, Tammy (Dan) Bealor of La Porte and Alicia (Eric) Lacey of Texas; one step-sister, Tanya Allen of Burns, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Miranda and Colton Francis; and nephews and great nephews.

Preceding in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A funeral celebrating his life will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Lakeview Funeral Home and Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte (219) 362-3100 with Bruce Shown officiating. Visitation and viewing will be from 2 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
